Word Among Us: What is one of your favorite activities during the summer months?
Angela Burrin: One of my favorite summer activities is taking walks in the cool of the day, enjoying the flowers in people’s yards and listening to the birds.
Word Among Us: What are you looking forward to?
Angela Burrin: I am particularly looking forward to going back to England at the end of July to visit my sister, family, and friends that I’ve known since my youth club days at my local Catholic Church!
A past happening was on Pentecost Sunday! That day four of the incarcerated ladies at the prison in Baltimore where I volunteer on Sundays received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist! Together with another volunteer we have been offering OCIA classes – Order of Christian Initiation Adults. A truly happy and blessed day! You should have seen the smiles on their faces!!
